Boro To be
product image

Boro Tapestry #001US | by Keiko Futatsuya

[SOLD. Thank you.] Boro_001US is a Boro artwork with Indigo Blue theme. Collecting the Boro pieces is fun process. It is full of surprise like opening many presents. In our search of collecting the Boro swatches to make Contemporary Boro, we could gather a good amount of Japanese Indigo Vintage Fabric. This is the product of appreciating the Japanese blue for a long time, "now" and "the time from many years ago to now". Materials: Vintage Fabric / mostly cotton / small Boro swatches Size: 26" x 64"

  • Japanese Sashiko

The Japanese stitched to make fabric stronger and thicker.

We call their ordinary stitching as "Sashiko"

with appreciation to what we have

    Upcycle what we love.
