Follow-Up of your
We are delighted to share a very special milestone in our Sashiko community. One of my dear friends has taken a step forward to become a Sashiko teacher, carrying the stories and techniques of Sashiko into their own classroom.
If you are visiting this page, it means that you have learned Sashiko from my student—now your teacher. Please know that by joining their class, you are also becoming part of the same Sashiko Story I have been honored to share.
Each workshop is unique, often shaped by limitations of time, place, and content. Even so, I warmly welcome you to the Sashiko we practice and invite you to continue this journey of learning.
Thank you for supporting their teaching—by doing so, you are also supporting the preservation and growth of Sashiko itself. Welcome to this circle of learning. May the stitches you have begun stay with you for many years, and may the spirit of Sashiko enrich your daily life.
Thank you.

This is the Sashiko thread we use and recommend every day—specially made in Japan for Sashiko, ensuring both beautiful results and a satisfying stitching process. For details on why thread matters, please see our articles.
This set includes the essential tools we use daily as Sashiko artisans: one handmade thimble and three durable, flexible needles—fundamental for authentic Sashiko stitching. Manufactured in Japan, the contents remain the same even if packaging differs.
Fabric for Sashiko (Indigo Dyed Cotton 100% Fabric)
This 100% cotton fabric is indigo-dyed and woven in Japan, carefully made to replicate traditional Edo-period textiles. With a width of about 112 cm (44.1") and sold per yard (36"), it is the fabric we most recommend for Sashiko unshin and daily practice, offering the best texture for both stitching and learning.
