This is a quick tip to use a Train to get to the First Hotel (Hamacho Hotel) from Haneda Airport in Sashiko Japan Retreat 2025. For the tip to use a train from Narita Airport, please let me know so that I can write a similar blog article.
From Haneda Airport to Ningyocho Station
Most international flights operated by non-Japanese airlines arrive at Terminal 3 of Haneda Airport. (Please double-check your arrival terminal with your flight reservation.)
From Terminal 3, you can take a direct train to Ningyocho Station. Trains depart about every 20–30 minutes, sometimes even more frequently.
Depending on the schedule, the train line name may appear as “KK” or “A”, but don’t worry — they are the same direct route, and no transfer is required. It’s a slightly long ride, yet usually comfortable, and you should be able to find a seat.

From Exit A2, it’s about a 750-meter walk to the hotel. I’ve attached a map to help with directions (apologies that I couldn’t change the language setting on Google Maps).
Please note that Exit A2 has only stairs. If you’re traveling with heavy luggage, I recommend finding an elevator near Exit A2 before leaving the station gate as I remember there is only stairs at A2 Exit. You should find a station map posted near the ticket gates, which will help you locate the nearest elevator or accessible exit.
The walk from the station to the hotel is straightforward and safe, passing through quiet city streets — a gentle introduction to Tokyo before our journey begins. Of course, you can get a taxi from any exit of Ningyo Cho Station.
